Irish Post Offices & Postmarks

Galway,
Gaillimh, County Galway.

Post Office open in 1653 as a Head office. It had undated namestamps, Mileage marks, Penny Post Marks and a Maltese Cross. There is a variety of Single and double ring datestamps, machine marks and other marks. The printed matter code was GA and it used numeral 232 from 1844.
